TinyApps.org - Dedicated to very small efficient software. Most of the software seems to be for Windows but the weblog is built with Blosxom and has some nice Unix links regarding things like EXT3 Undelete and console-mode feed readers.
Carlo Wood is working on an EXT3 undelete program called ext3grep. He has written up some very thorough notes on EXT3 internals. There is an ext3grep Google group dedicated to discussing the application, currently unreleased but available upon request from the author.
Need to Know 2003–03–07 - A fun look back to 2003 when Rael Dornfest released Blosxom 2.0. The article’s description of Blosxom: “It’s blogging if blogging was a shell command - right down to its unpronounceable name.”
A few new Blosxom-like weblog programs:
Rassmalog - A static blog engine based on YAML, eRuby, and Rake.
floret - A lightweight static content management system written in Perl. Like Blosxom, pages are plain text files and the filesystem defines the site hierarchy. Unlike Blosxom, it is geared towards generating traditional websites (as opposed to weblogs).
