Epiphany developers announced that Epiphany will drop support for Gecko and focus exclusively on WebKit for the upcoming 2.24 development cycle. Now, if only WebKit would implement MathML.

I just switched from Ubuntu to Debian Testing on my laptop and apparently there are a couple of MathML-related Debian font packages that aren’t available in the Ubuntu repositories. Namely, there is a package called xfonts-mathml which contains the Type1 ‘Symbol’ font and another in the contrib repository called ttf-mathematica4.1 which contains (no surprise here) the Mathematica 4.1 true type fonts.
Via the SDF bulletin boards I recently discovered newsbeuter, a lightweight console-based RSS and Atom feed reader. It is very reminiscent of mutt both in terms of the interface and configuration files.
