Intel Fortran Compilers Now Free for Students on All Platforms ∴

Steve Lionel, Fortran evangelist and the face of Intel Fortran compiler support, announced this on Twitter yesterday:

Intel Fortran now free for students on Windows, Linux and OS X! https://software.intel.com/en-us/qualify-for-free-software/student #hpc

This is great news for one of the best Fortran compilers on the market. It was previously free for non-commercial use on Linux only, but now OS X and Windows are also included.
